Digital Dialogues is a concept we developed at the beginning of the Corona pandemic. Its core idea is to connect artists despite great distances within the framework of our workshops and by digital means. By projecting their collaborative pieces into the urban space, we bring culture, creativity and exchange into public spaces. A second dialogue takes place among the artists and the audience.
This year we were particularly interested in young dancers and brought together a dance group from Bobo Dioulasso, Burkina Faso, with a group of young dancers from Bremen. Both groups received support from mentors who helped them develop their joint choreographies. The pieces they created together and the connection they built over time touched us deeply and showed us that this project is truly unique.
